Whoever said that obviously never experienced the almost limitless varieties of bread now available at any store, and that anyone with a hint of patience and a knack for experimentation can make at home . My blog will be dedicated to exploring all kinds of bread from rustic, artisan loafs to quick breads and short breads.
My biggest influence in my bread baking journey has most certainly been Peter Reinhart. Reinhart is a world renown baker and author of several bread cookbooks, my favorite of which is The Bread Baker's Apprentice. This book includes recipes for many traditional rustic breads as well as other styles of bread from all over world and a book I would recommend to anyone in baking.
